Sayyed Fadlullah condemned the suicide bombing that targeted mourners in a funeral in Pakistan

The Religious Authority, His Eminence, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah issued a statement in which he condemned the suicide bombing that targeted a group of mourners in Pakistan. He said:
Some Takfiris, who deny, on the intellectual and practical levels, the Prophet's (p.) saying: Every Muslim is haram to another Muslim, his blood, property and his honor, committed a brutal massacre in an aggressive bombing that has no relation to Islam and Muslims. This massacre targeted a funeral of some believers in Pakistan, killing and wounding many of the Prophet's (p.) and his Household's (p.) followers based on the blind fanaticism, and spilling the blood of Muslims, because they differ with them in some sectarian details. Those differences ought not lead to accusations, disbelief and deviation but they have to be dealt with by referring them to Islamic jurisprudential constants, in the same way the theological and jurisprudential disputes between Muslims of all sects are dealt with.
We denounce this brutal massacre and all similar massacres and we say to the extremist Takfiris: Your problem in Pakistan is not with the Shiite Muslims who believe in Allah, pronounce the two Shahadas, pray, perform the Hajj duty, and obey Allah and His Prophet (p.), but rather with the arrogant occupiers who have invaded the Muslim countries, killing innocent civilians by the American and NATO jets and missiles. Therefore, if you are sincere to Islam and Muslims, you have to work on fighting the occupier in order to force it out of your countries and not to wage war against Muslims, especially that the current stage requires all Muslims to adhere to Islamic unity and resort to Allah and His Prophet (p.) in solving their disputes. Allah, the Most Exalted says: "then if you quarrel about anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger," (04:59)
He also says:
"And hold fast by the covenant of Allah all together and be not disunited." (03:103)
That is because the arrogant disbelievers do not want the heads of the Shiites and the Sunnis only, but also the heads of all Muslims and to undermine Islam.
We also call on you to refer to Allah's Book and to the Sunna of His Prophet (p.) in order to meet on the principles of Islam, resort to dialogue to face the great challenges and to be far from the blind fanaticism that goes back to the age of Jahiliyya.
We pray to Allah to have mercy upon the martyrs, bestow upon their parents patience and consolation, and bless the wounded with speedy recovery. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
