| Sayyed Fadlullah: A hidden plan is being carried out by international and non international parties to prolong the Lebanese crisis |
The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, considered in a statement he made lately that there is a hidden plan that is carried out by international and non international parties to prolong the crisis in Lebanon. That is why, the Arab movement to which some international and regional parties are attracted, has remained blurry, since no serious talks were held over the formation of a national unity government that represents the issue which is still being disputed about on the internal level and was monitored on the external level.
His Eminence indicated that the relations between different Lebanese factions and foreign parties, whether Arab or non-Arab, should be monitored from the perspective of the interests of the country, and there should be no talk about pressures exerted by foreign parties on their friends in Lebanon, because that will raise another talk about other pressures exerted by other foreign parties on other Lebanese factions, thus leading to an internal discord.
The Sayyed pointed out that the problem in Lebanon lies in the fact that each country is trying to boost its presence in Lebanon, keeping it an open ground. In addition, the "cold" inter-Arab relationships have left their marks on Lebanon and are still doing so. That is because there is a difference between directing these relations on the formal level and directing them on the practical level.
His Eminence noticed that the situation in Lebanon seems to be blurry because there is a hidden plan carried out by international and non international parties in the aim of extending the Lebanese crisis, in addition to the American attempts that seek to link this crisis to the regional crisis on the political and security levels.
He added: "Therefore, we should be aware of what America wants from Iraq and Palestine…whereas, the Lebanese people are the last ones to be cared about. That is because the problem resides in the fact that every party in Lebanon will always find those who applaud for it since the Lebanese people are educated on caring about their personal interests that is represented by their factional affiliation… Thus, they will all stay in the heart of the ongoing crisis. Besides, the Lebanese remain to be a wood for the fire that is required to stay ignited for the interests of other parties and more than one dossier in the region…Thus Lebanon remains an open ground for the external players.
