The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah announced that next Monday, the 8th of December 2008 A.D., 10 Zul Hjja 1429 H., is the first day of Eid Al-Adha and that the Eid prayer will be performed in Al-Imamayn Al-Hasanayin Mosque in Haret Hreik on Monday morning at 6:45 a.m.
His Eminence had announced that it was jurisprudentially proven to us that the 1st of Zul Hijja 1429 H. was Saturday, the 29th of November 2008 A.D., which means that Monday, the 8th of December, is the first day of Eid Al-Adha.
