to the Arabs and Muslims to introduce the bright image of our

His Eminence, Sayyed Ali Fadlullah, delivered the two Friday
sermons. In the first sermon, he commemorated the death anniversary
of Imam Al-Askari (a.s.), talking about the oppression he had
to endure, and his struggle that continued until the birth of
his successor. In the second sermon, the Sayyed wondered why
the Palestinian Authority has not taken a decisive stand towards
the latest Israeli aggression. He considered that resorting
to the Security Council will further complicate the Syrian crisis,
and he outlined the dangers posed by the sanctions against Iran.
He also called on the Egyptians to protect their country from
the threat of strife, and expressed his disappointment with
the performance of the Lebanese government..
