The Juristic Committee of the Institution of Sayyed Fadlullah (ra) declares: The blessed Al-Adha Eid is on next Sunday

The Juristic Committee of the Institution of His Eminence, the Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah (ra) announced that the blessed Eid of Al-Adha is on next Sunday, November 6, 2011 A.D., according to the jurisprudential opinion of the late Sayyed Fadlullah (ra) that rely upon accurate astronomical data.

In accordance with the accurate scientific astronomical data, which reveal that the crescent of the month of Thul-Hijja is born on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 A.D. at 22:56 p.m., and considering that the crescent cannot be seen in that night in any place of the world with which we share a part of the night – knowing that the crescent can be seen on Thursday night, October 27, by the naked eye in several African countries with the possibility of sighting it with the aid of telescopes in Australia and New Zealand – and in reference to the jurisprudential opinion of His Eminence, the Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah (ra), the first of the month of Thul Hijja Al-Haram is on Friday, October 28, 2011 A.D. Therefore, the blessed Al-Adha Eid is on next Sunday, November 6, 2011 A.D.
