The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah received Hizbullah’s Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah.

They discussed for about two hours the general situation in the region, as well as in Lebanon and focused on the future that awaits the Lebanese as political events continue to unfold.

They emphasized the responsibility of all parties to provide favorable atmospheres to get the Lebanese out of the circle of political complications that might worsen the economic and social hardships.

The need to be aware of what the Israeli enemy is planning for with the help of many parties, was also emphasized. In addition to its strategic goals, the enemy is planning to further the circumstances that would create internal turmoil in Lebanon, especially after its failure in its last war, thus intersecting with the American plans of creating an internal state of chaos in several Muslim countries.

The meeting also discussed the general situation in the region in view of the challenges in several fronts, especially in Iraq and Palestine, as well as the responsibilities of the countries that oppose the US policies and the Islamic and Liberation movements, which is to try to enhance the internal unity in the face of these challenges and their repercussions
