Receiving a delegation of Hamas Movement, Fadlullah emphasized the importance of rushing to mend the situation in Palestine
Hamdan: What happened in Gaza was a plan made by Dayton, the American General

The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, received a delegation of Hamas Movement, headed by Osama Hamdan, the Hamas representative in Lebanon, accompanied by Ali Barakeh, the official in charge of the political relations. The meeting touched on the recent developments in Palestine, especially in Gaza and the West Bank as well as the Palestinian situation in Lebanon, in the light of the latest developments in Nahr Al-Bared camp.

His Eminence emphasized that all concerned parties, in and out of the Palestinian front, should work to control a Palestinian-Palestinian dialogue that has to promote the Palestinian cause in order to confront the Israeli enemy. He also called upon them to be wary of the American-Israeli plan that aims at deepening the divide between the Palestinians, indicating that Bush's Administration harbors only a grudge against the Palestinians and is seeking to incite a big Palestinian strife. For that reason, Palestinian leaders and Islamic and national factions as well as all the Palestinian officials, should realize that and thus correct their mistakes by amending the situation in Palestine before we reach a new stage of chaos and fragmentation amidst the chaos that America is trying to create in the entire region, especially in Palestine.

Following the meeting, Hamdan said: "The meeting with Sayyed Fadlullah was full of vitality and love, and his brothers in Hamas Movement admire His Eminence. We have notified the Sayyed about the Palestinian developments, especially in Gaza and their consequences. We have also informed him about the American plan that was made by Dayton, the American General, and was executed by the generals and leaders of the security agencies, that are headed by Muhammad Dahlan and Rashid Abu Shibbak, who sought to revolt against the Palestinian legitimacy and thwart all Palestinian options that are represented by resistance, reform and confronting corruption.
