The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, received a delegation of the Reconciliation Association in Bahrain, represented by the Bahraini MP Muhammad Youssef Al-Mizaa'il and Mr. Sa'id Al-Majid, the head of the foreign relationships in the association.

The meeting touched on the situations in Lebanon and the region ,in addition to the recent developments in Bahrain, which the delegation briefed the Sayyed about.

His Eminence stressed that all the concerned parties in Bahrain should work on directing the political movement in Bahrain in a balanced manner, taking into consideration, the internal situation with its political, cultural and intellectual domains. He also called upon them not to engage themselves in the struggles that would add a new complication that is not in the interests of the Bahraini people in their various sects, parties and political and non-political affiliations.

Sayyed Fadlullah emphasized also the importance of working on all levels in order to protect the internal unity in Bahrain, indicating that both the Sunni and Shiite Muslims are responsible for strengthening the relationships among themselves as well as with other parties. They are also responsible for holding the dialogue on all Islamic and national issues to protect the national unity ,since we are living in one of the most critical and dangerous stages on the level of the entire region. Therefore, all parties should hold their responsibilities in protecting their internal entities in order to confront the imminent threat represented by the continuous American attack against Islam and Muslims that targets the entire nation as well as the nation's cultural and intellectual infrastructure.
