The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, received a delegation of "Islamic Endowment (Wqaf) of Iqraa" headed by Omar Bakri Muhammad Fostok, the director General and discussed with them many current Islamic issues, in addition to the basis and perspectives of the Muslim-Muslim dialogue. The delegation praised Sayyed Fadlullah's recent call for serious dialogue among the Muslim Shiite sect and Sunni Salafi groups amidst the variety of religious jurisprudential viewpoints and the difference in many issues, ideas and beliefs.

During the meeting, both parties emphasized that the educational, political and media wars as well as other wars that target Islam and Muslims, should be faced by an internal Muslim-Muslim dialogue in order to resolve many issues that prevent Muslims from communicating and uniting in confronting the nation's enemies, especially that some people lurk evil to attack the nation through igniting the fire of internal strife and going too far in breaking its intellectual and educational structure.

They also laid stress on the necessity of continuing to communicate on all levels for the sake of Islam and Muslims.
