Fadlullah: The dialogue among religions should be based on the Christ's Commandments and the Teachings of Prophet Muhammad (p.)

The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, received John Barsons, an Australian priest and discussed with him the issue of dialogue among religions, especially between Islam and Christianity and the ability of reviving the fundamental channels of dialogue among the Islamic and Vatican religious authorities.

During the meeting, Sayyed Fadlullah emphasized that it is possible to institute a collaboration among the Islamic and Vatican religious authorities on the basis of confronting arrogance and injustice in the world, regardless of some mistakes that were committed in the past. H.E also indicated that it is important for the Islamic-Christian relationship to reach an agreement on the basis of Christ's (p.) Commandments, the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (p.) and the unity that the Holy Quran called for.
