Receiving the Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Sayyed Fadlullah emphasized the importance of the unifying role of Iran

The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, received, Muhammad Rida Shibani, the Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon.

During the meeting, Shibani briefed the Sayyed about the recent Iranian communications with some Arab and non-Arab parties that aim at finding possible solutions for the Lebanese internal crisis.

The meeting focused on the general situation in the region, the direct and indirect threats of the American Administration and the Zionist Entity against the Iranian Islamic Republic. The Iranian Ambassador emphasized that Iran is ready to confront any danger that threatens it and the region, indicating that the internal Iranian stand is unified and the Iranian people are ready to support Iran's right to pursue peaceful nuclear energy.

Fadlullah and Shibani also discussed the situation in Iraq and the sufferance of the Iraqi people due to occupation and the violent operations of the Takfiri croups, in addition to discussing the dialogue that was held between the Americans, Iranians and Iraqis regarding the Iraqi file.

During the meeting, Sayyed Fadlullah emphasized the importance of the big Islamic role of Iran in the region, saying that this role supports the Arab and Islamic issues, and pointed out the important steps that Iran has made on the level of the Islamic unity. He also stressed the importance of continuing to follow this line in order to preserve Islamic unity and the Muslims' causes.
