The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, received a delegation of the Liberation Party led by Mr. Othman Bakhash, accompanied by Mr. Bilal Zaidan and Mr. Saleh Salam. The meeting touched on many Islamic issues and challenges that the Islamic movements are facing amidst the escalated violence of the Takfiri groups on one hand, and the American-Israeli attack that is pressurizing the nation on the other hand.

The delegation clarified that the Liberation Party does not engage itself in the internal discords and that its work is confined to the calling domain in addition to its attempts for reuniting the nation, bringing closer the points of view, and calling for unity, far from the marginal conflicts that serve only the enemies of the nation, especially the American-Israeli project.

On his part, the Sayyed emphasized that the Islamic movements are now facing big challenges and should act in a way that inspire the Islamic concepts, and which confirms that Islam is not out of touch with life.

His Eminence indicated that the Islamic movements especially that which are not based on sectarianism should guide the nation's people, bring them closer to each other and protect the unifying lines, in addition to its political efforts that aim at guarding the nation against the external arrogant plans.

His Eminence saw that the sectarian strife that aims at destroying every thing in the Islamic sphere is initiated by international and regional intelligence agencies and is nourishing from the backwardness that is eating away the Islamic body and from a fundamentalism that denies the other and refuses to hold a dialogue with him. This reality makes the Islamic movements that are characterized with the unifying aspect, hold a big responsibility in filling up the gaps inside the nation, bringing together the points of view and keeping the doors of dialogue open, especially that the discords and disputes help in complicating the issues and pave the way for the enemies to adopt their plans

The Sayyed also stressed on studying objectively the general situation in the region and being wary of political and security traps initiated by the international and regional intelligence agencies and the parties that are in relationships with these Islamic and Liberation movements. That aim at preventing the enemies of the nation from gaining any victory over the nation through these traps, after the noble resistance movements were able to thwart the enemy's projects in the fields of direct confrontation.

The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah received also a delegation from the Islamic Center for Guidance and High Education and discussed with it many educational and scientific issues in the midst of the challenges that the current stages impose on all levels.

On his part, Fadlullah stressed the importance of relying on the scientific aspect in observing the international situations, despite the preoccupation of the political domain and its consequences that control the Arab and Islamic reality.
