The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, received a delegation of the Islamic Unifying Movement, headed by Bilal Sha'ban, the Secretary General of the movement, who briefed the Sayyed about the recent developments in the north, especially that in Nahr El-Bared and their consequences on Lebanon as well as on the Islamic world.

His Eminence emphasized the importance of working on all levels in order to protect the internal front from any threats on both the rhetoric and staying far from what could ever instigate sensitivities, especially amidst the dangerous situation in the region that are effecting Lebanon.

The Sayyed also received Naji Al-Bustani, the former minister and discussed with him the situation in Lebanon in the light of the current developments on more than one level.
