The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, received Ibrahim Al-Masri, Deputy Secretary General of “Al-Jamaa’ Al-Islamia”, and discussed with him the general Islamic situation and the developments in Lebanon and the region.

In the meeting, Fadlullah and Al-Masri agreed that the American Administration is trying to divide the region through inciting sectarianism, and thus, taking advantage of many faults that are being committed here and there. Both parties agreed that the unitary Islamic powers should clarify the picture and prevent exploiting the political discords and turning them into a sectarian conflict.

His Eminence emphasized that the US is seeking to destroy the internal Lebanese relations, especially in the general Islamic environment. Hence, it is interfering to hinder any progress made to solve the internal issues.

His Eminence emphasized that the unitary Islamic parties should always discuss all issues, and be ready to prevent any incursion on the political or informational level. He also stressed that the dialogue should always be open between Hezbollah and “Al-Jamaa’ Al-Islamia” at the highest level in order to prevent any one who tries to create a chasm in the general Islamic front.
