Fadlullah and Nasrallah agreed on supporting all unifying steps and uncovering America’s plans

The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, received Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Hezbullah leader, and discussed with him the internal situation in Lebanon. They also touched on the latest developments in Lebanon and the people’s movements in the region, as well as the US attempts to instigate Sunni-Shiite strife.

Both parties also urged leaders to uncover America's new plans, support all "unifying steps", settle political discords through "wise Islamic means" and not to be dragged into conflict by rumors media campaigns and "inflammatory" speeches.

Fadlullah and Nasrallah urged religious and political leaders not to "exploit" political discord to instigate security and sectarian tension in Lebanon.
