Sayyed Fadlullah: America has not said yet its final word regarding Lebanon, but it sent hints

Sayyed Fadlullah received the Regional Secretary of the Baa'th Arab Socialist Party in Lebanon

The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muahmmad Hussein Fadlullah, received Fayez Shokur, the Regional Secretary of the Baa'th Party in Lebanon, accompanied by Ibrahim Issa, a member of the Regional Command and Mr. Kamal Musaad who presented The Sayyed his two books: "The Israeli Defense System, the Variables and the Future Confrontation", and "The American Space Strategy". The meeting touched on the internal situation and the regional developments.

During the meeting, His Eminence emphasized that the internal Lebanese situation is still waiting the American password because the American Administration did not say its final word yet regarding the positive developments that have recently appeared although America has sent some hints to many Lebanese as well as foreign politicians that opens up on these positive developments.

The Sayyed stressed that the Lebanese should be conscious, and cautious in following up the developments till the end, especially that the coming weeks will be decisive for the situation during these weeks will be very sensitive and critical in Lebanon and the region.

His Eminence considered that America has interfered in the Arab-Arab relationships and instigated tensions among countries to use them as a playing card in the game that it has drawn for the region. The Sayyed also pointed out that things in the region are not determined yet. Thus, the doors are still open for many options, and any positive development in Lebanon will lay the foundation for better atmospheres on both the Arab and Islamic regions.

Following the meeting, Shokur declared that:

We had the honour to meet Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah in this Holy month, and I offered my congratulations to him and to all Muslims and Christians as we are about to celebrate the blessed Eid el-Fitr. I congratulated His Eminence and it was an occasion to discuss with him the recent Lebanese, regional and international developments.
