The Classification of Iran's Revolutionary Guards as a Terrorist organization is a declaration of war

The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, stressed that the US Administration is acting out of a killer imperial drive that pushes it to disrupt the region. He pointed out that the classification of Iran's Revolutionary guards as a terrorist organisation cannot be seen except as a declaration of war. He added that the Congress call for dividing Iraq aims at using the issue of minorities to further destabilize the states of the Region.

His Eminence issued a statement in which he said:

Followers of the American policies, especially its latest moves, would clearly understand that the Bush Administration has not abandoned its plan to enter the region into a state of chaos and wars. And that the American Congress that claims that it wants to change the Administration's behaviour is actually acting as a partner with this Administration in implementing the strategies drawn by the Zionist lobby to expand the sphere of American aggression and provide additional false reasons for the purpose of mobilizing the American and Western public opinions.

The classification of Iran's Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization, even though they [the Guards] represent the Iranian Army and are a major reserve of the Iranian armed forces, cannot be viewed except as a declaration of war.

Partition

Moreover, the Congress decision regarding the division of Iraq, although unbinding, represents a big danger as a result of its probable consequences on the Arab region. It could even be considered as an American step to pave the way for wars that move from one state to another to further destabilize the region. The escalatory tone the Bush administration has adopted in managing Arab positions vis-a-vis Iran, under the title of confronting its hegemony over the region, despite the fact that Iran has played the role of fire-fighter in many political and religious issues in the region, and despite Iranian readiness to share its nuclear expertise with Arab countries, proves that the US administration wants these countries to make arms deals that it can benefit from, when Bush decides to enter into new mad wars.

The American President who talks about his leadership of the world and presents himself as a political prophet to mankind, while he cannot spell or pronounce certain words including the names of the countries… This President is still telling himself that he can create new things in the world even at the price of burning the region, and involving the world with a bloody economic and political confrontation.

The Arabs should not take it lightly if the American Administration decides to go ahead with its satanic schemes. The oil returns they are enjoying now could merely be a scene in a play that will later on crush their economies in a moment of American madness.

We are afraid that the American Administration would one day force the Arabs to pay the bill of their military, economic and political policies in the region, including that of its fatal mistakes. We are also afraid that if the US finds that it is unable to fulfil the Israeli dream of geographically fragmenting the region, it will fragment it politically, by means of destroying Arab- Arab relations. An example of such an attitude would be inventing stories about cancelling a visit that was not scheduled in the first place in an effort to further complicate the already complicated Arab relations. In addition, America continues its effort to create strife between the sectarian and ethnic groups in the region, as well as dividing its states into moderate and rogue states.

We are afraid that the situation in the region is very critical, since the US is still acting under the influence of a killer imperial drive that pushes it to further disrupt the region. It is aided by a European yielding that has made the European personality fade away under the influence of the American personality’s rage and tension. That is why we want our Arab and Muslim peoples to study the strategic dimensions of what is going on, and not to be absorbed by the sectarian issues that aim at confusing their innate nature in reading the real implications of the situation.

Moreover, the on going Arab normalization with Israel which we have seen some of its aspects in the United Nations might further complicate the Arab-Arab relations Arab-Islamic relations, and Islamic - Islamic relations, and turn them into hell. This will enable Israel to become an established fact in all of our countries, and we will have to start all over again in the trip of searching of our causes in the mazes of the issues of others.
