Fadlullah's communiqué regarding the foreign intervention in the Lebanese affairs

The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, released a statement in which he warned against the American plan in the region that aims at thwarting any serious dialogue between the different political parties in the entire Arab region. H.E. said:

It is obvious that the American Administration wants its failure in the region to be turned to a problem for others, especially for Arabs and Muslims, since it wants them to pay the bill of its failure. It considers them responsible for this failure because of the resistance and opposition movements that were able to complicate the American project and weaken the Israeli strategy.

Therefore, the internal divisions, as well as the critical consequences of these divisions that the region is witnessing nowadays, represent a part of the American plan that aims at unifying the region under the American-Israeli project or dividing the region and dispersing its powers in case the project fails.

Thus, the American Administration rejected any serious dialogue in the Arab world because it is keen on sowing violence so as to preserve Israeli interests. Therefore, the US Administration is responsible for complicating the Palestinian-Palestinian relations and leading them to this level of disorder to the extent that a high-level Palestinian official declared that he does not intend to hold dialogue with his people, at a time he embraces the enemy's Prime Minister. Moreover, the US administration is responsible for the political crisis in Lebanon, this crisis which is likely to have drastic repercussions on the political, economic and perhaps security levels in the country.

The American Administration worked with Israel to thwart the Makka's agreement between Hamas and Fateh and instigated the internal Palestinian chaos. In addition, many mistakes and violations paved the way for a wide Palestinian division. America is even urging and pressurizing some Arab parties to play a negative role of supporting this division because America aims at turning the project of the Palestinian state into an unfertile project that has no realistic chances of succeeding. Therefore, we consider that all the attempts for opening on Israel and refusing to contact the Palestinians, represent dubious and treacherous attempts that are preparing for a long term Palestinian internal fighting in order to pave the way for Israel to continue building the wall, complete its project of settlement and Juidize Jerusalem as a whole. In addition, Israel is rebuilding its strategic military bases for the purpose of targeting Iran and all the opposition fronts in the region. This fact was clearly revealed through the joint Israeli-American maneuver and through the increased American concern with Olmert's military ambitions, during his last visit to Washington.

The Arabs must know that the coming Sharm El-Sheik conference will be only an occasion for promoting the split between the Palestinians through the yielding of some Arabs and Palestinians to Israel that is going to talk intensively about enabling the humanitarian aid to reach the Palestinian people, while planning to increase the split between the Palestinians.

Thus, the Palestinians will be dragged into a bigger chaos in case the rational leaders do not return back to dialogue that without it the Palestinians as well as their cause will be further weakened and dispersed.
