Is the success of the Arab summits achieved through giving up the cause of the refugees?

Sayyed Fadlullah: We fear that the Arabs' attempts to appease Israel is indeed a fulfillment of past commitments to hit Iran

The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, released a statement in which he called upon the Arab peoples and the opposition forces, to confront the coming stage that is marked with the Arabs' attempts to appease Israel. H.E. said:

The one who observes the movement of the Arab regimes, especially in its escalated attempts to gain the cordiality of the Israeli enemy, recognizes that it is more than working on a break through in the settlement efforts. That is because it seems that the issue has entered the mazes of the American project that not only wants the Arabs to befriend to Israel, but also to pressurize the opposition countries and the resistant movements in the region in order to make them meet with the American project or to make peace with it.

H.E. added that the Quartet Committee, through the road map, has worked on freezing the Palestinians' movement by imposing two impossible conditions: the first is represented by recognizing Israel with no strings attached. The second is the one imposed by the Quartet Committee, and that is represented by ending the Resistance, while allowing Israel to continue its aggression, occupation and assassinations without being interrupted.

The Sayyed said further: "Why are they trying to appease Israel after the Summit that was said to be the most successful among all Arab Summits. Is the summit's success represented by yielding to Israel, knowing that Israel has announced after the Beirut Summit that the initiative lunched by it is not worth the papers it was written on? Besides, Israel had considered the refugees' return to be a suicide to its existence. Thus, are the Arabs required to send a political prelude declaring a latent desire to get rid of the refugees' issue as an introduction to get rid of the Palestinian cause completely?

We fear that the attempts to appease Israel is a part of the commitments that more than one official Arab party had undertaken whether by accepting the hitting of Iran or sieging it and considering it a dangerous enemy that they can ally with America and Israel to fight.

We feel that the Arab Summit, through its humiliating attempts to appease Israel, has reached the highest level of submission to Israel.

We call the Arab peoples, their conscious vanguards, and the opposition forces, to be ready to face the coming stage amidst all the Arabs' attempts to appease Israel because that eliminates our causes as well as the Palestinian cause in the name of solving the Palestinian problem.
