“Blair” must be told that “he is not welcomed in Lebanon”

Fadlallah: Does the British Prime Minister come to Lebanon to examine the results of the crime that he was involved in committing?!

The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, wondered about the reason of asking the British Prime Minister to come to Lebanon. He said: “Where is the prudence in sending this invitation? Till when does Lebanon continue to be an open theater for those who conspired against their people and their state for Israel’s interests?

In a statement, Sayyed Fadlallah stated that: due to the events of the late Israeli-American war on Lebanon with all its details, and its destruction, in addition to the British conspiracy in covering the Israeli crimes and the facilities presented by the British Prime Minister especially for sending the destruction weapons to Israel to kill the Lebanese... due to all this, the Lebanese Government and officials ought at least to have said to Tony Blair: you are not welcomed in Lebanon. Thus, he and his allies will know that we are not naïve to welcome the one who participated in killing us.

He added: The British Prime Minister, who participated in propagating the big American lie regarding the claim of Weapons of Mass Destruction and who is involved in implementing the American decision of invading Iraq, as well as in its consequences and massacres that are still committed against the Iraqis and who is also a partner in the Israeli American war on Lebanon, … Such a figure should at least be held accountable and not welcomed. Let the Lebanese officials in Lebanon know that “Blair” who is now in a weak political position in Britain will not be praised especially after all what he did in covering the Israeli-American war on Lebanon.

His Eminence added that: “Blair” pushed Britain to be submitted to the American Administration in its continuous wars against our people. Blair also participated, in a way or another, in the crazy party in Lebanon. Moreover, he played the role of the killer of the children, women and the elderly and worked on preventing the cease fire on the pretext of “the need solving the problem radically”. Yet, all this does not prevent him from calling for a truce to stop the Israeli massacres and the systematic destruction for the Lebanese infrastructure.

He also stated that: We do not know if Blair is coming to Lebanon to count the number of the children whom he participated in killing through making his country a bridge for sending the American weapons to Israel. He might also be coming to convince some Lebanese officials to serve Bush’s political project. In this way he makes Lebanon a prey for the Israeli political project after having failed to twist the Lebanese arms through its military war?! Or, does he want to examine the results o f the crime that he had participated in committing in Lebanon?

His Eminence concluded that: What we have said does not mean that we hate all the British people, the conscious elites, the free minded people, the honest pens of the people who unveiled the conspiracy and participated in criticizing Blair’s government. We were of the first to condemn the terrorist attacks that targeted the people in London and other countries. Nevertheless, we share the British people and those whose stands are free in criticizing and rejecting Blair’s policy in following Bush and his administration and veil the Israeli-American crimes. We believe that the British people deserve a prime minister who is better than Tony Blair.
