Fadlallahs call France to change its political position towards Lebanon

The Religious Authority Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah said that the American-Israeli war on Lebanon has given the Lebanese the chance to discover their real friends, and unveiled the face of many governments and states that claimed to be concerned for Lebanon. It proved that some of these countries are actually involved in the war on Lebanon, and had done all what they could to facilitate the Israeli incursion attempts into Lebanon both militarily and politically.

His Eminence said: Some EU States have shown horrifying flexibility in their relations with the US, by cooperating with the American administration to besiege Lebanon in the security council and outside it, and promote the Israeli interests at the expense of the Lebanese ones. Thus, despite all the sympathy they showed towards Lebanon in their visits and contacts, these countries are but partners in spilling the Lebanese blood and in the massacres that were committed killing, Lebanese children, women and elderly in cold blood.

The Sayyed did not rule out the possibility that prolonged deliberations concerning the international resolution on Lebanon were staged, to suggest that there are certain differences concerning the wording to give Israel additional time to try to change things on the ground. But when Israel failed the American -French resolution was so revealing that France could not hide the fact that it is basing its policy on political and perhaps personal complexes that undermine France’s own interests to further the Israeli interests.

If we go back to what the French President was saying two years ago, regarding the need to respect international law and to save humanity from the evils of the wars of hegemony, we will fully realize how big is the distance France has crossed to ride the American train, We are afraid that if France does not change its course it will fall both in the region and in Lebanon. In this respect, I would like to ask: Where is the French revolution? Where is the Resistance against the Nazis? And where is the France of freedom equality and human rights?

Everything has become clear to the Lebanese, including those who thought otherwise: The US Administration wants Lebanon to be a model for blood violence in the region, and not the illusion of democracy the American President used to talk about. America wants Lebanon a new front for the fragmentation it is trying to accomplish in the region. The American-French draft resolution aims at reviving the collapsing American project in the region, Nevertheless, it will not be successful, and all the countries which are allured to participate in the international forces that aims at protecting Israel should feel the imminent danger. What Israel has failed to do no other force can be successful in, and the Lebanese people and state will deal with them as an occupation force or a force that compliments it.

The resistance in Lebanon has brought back life to the entire nation and put it face to face with the American Israeli project having that want the nation to sink in its internal differences. Thus the Arab officials including the Arab League officials, should wake up and feel the seriousness of what is happening before the fire reaches them, and before they become victims of the coming earthquakes.
