The Religious Authority, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, continued to follow up the internal situation, especially the assassination of General Francois al-Hajj. H.E. called the army chief General Michel Suleiman, and offered his condolences. Sayyed Fadlullah emphasized to General Suleiman the necessity of preserving the army being a major element in maintaining internal stability, the unity of the Lebanese and confronting the enemy.
