Fadlallah: An immense complications face the American offensive whenever it approaches the Palestinian arena and the region.

H.E. Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah considered the last American threats as a call for Arabs and Muslims to be disciplined. He also pointed out that these threats serve as a warning that precedes the next political move that Washington is trying, through it, to invest, what has happened in Afghanistan in the Arab and Islamic arena.

Indicating that the region is not likely to assimilate the solutions that are being talked about but rather it is apt to more chaos, conflicts, and disturbances, he stressed that there are still some resistance positions in the nation that may be able to face the next rounds of American aggressions. These aggressions, added Fadlallah, will face immense complications whenever it approached the Palestinian arena and the surroundings.

In his weekly lecture, H.E. was asked about the coming rounds of the American war on the region, he said:

In the beginning we have to know an essential issue : we do not consider that the Taliban represents the true image of Islam. In addition, there are those who say that the end of the Taliban represents the beginning of the end of the Islamic movements in the Arab and Islamic worlds. However, we say that the U.S. could not have accomplished what it had against the Afghani people, without making use of several weapons, most prominent of which was the Arab and Islamic silence. Although this silence has turned into an action but it was a very slow action that did not exceed the level of condemnation and words.

Thus, the fears that we had   about the Palestinian Intifada have remerged  today as we witness  this American aggression whose targets are expanding and dangers are increasing pursuant to the relaxation and indifference  towards the continuous pressures on our Arab and Islamic people. These pressures were also aimed at restricting the nation’s concerns to their internal social and economic problems only.

While we feel that the dangers that threaten the nation’s causes come from this horrible stagnancy that almost fell upon everything, we are looking forward with hope to this newborn movement that began to emerge as a result of the subjugations, repressions, killings, and annihilations that have left traces in many areas and in which its hard for the arrogant powers to void it or vent out the anger and congestion resulting from this movement, even if that was through the announcement about American initiatives coming to the region under the Palestinian cause or the Palestinian state titles.

The last American threats, which harmonize with the rhythm of the war in Afghanistan, wants to tell the Arabs and Muslims that they have to be disciplined, so that they would serve as a warning that precedes the next political move that Washington is trying to invest, through it, what has happened in Afghanistan in the Arab and Islamic arena and in what they call the  “Middle East” in particular.

We want to assert that there are certain forces in the nation that can face the next rounds of the American aggression and can produce new elements of inspiration.

No matter how much this campaign may be heightened,  it will enter into immense complications whenever it approaches the Palestinian arena and the region as a whole, because this arena is totally different than the one in Afghanistan. If that is true, then a new chapter of this crisis will begin in which we do not expect it to move towards a settlement but to some kind of political chaos, which expresses itself in new complications where political, economic, and security elements overlap because the region is not likely to assimilate the solutions they talk about, but is apt to more chaos, struggles, and disturbances.
