One of the basic tasks of any religious authority is to provide rulings or edicts to new events or encounters his followers meet, which of course would be based on the holy Quran and the traditions. The religious authority H.E. Fadlullah has been immensely concerned with providing these guidelines and the rulings ,for we live in an age that is marked by new discoveries and technologies that raise many moral problems concerning  the way they ought to be used to serve the good of mankind.
