Q: Is it permissible for the family (such as the mother, children, or the brothers and sisters) of the person who has performed Hajj and had to pay kafarah in Hajj, to eat from this kaffarah?

A: The kafarah that is obligatory for the person performing Ihram to pay should be given to the poor and the needy and he can eat a little amount of it only. Besides, if his households are in no need since he spends on them it is impermissible for them to eat from it. In case his sisters or brothers are poor, it is permissible for them to eat from it.
