Q: is it permissible to consume meat of animals that have been slaughtered by machines yet the name of Allah was mentioned upon them?

A: it is permissible if other requirements of Halal slaughtering were met.

Q: If the meat that is sold in a restaurant is marked with the stamp “Halal”, knowing that shop’s owner has a certificate which proves that his meat is slaughtered according to Sharia legitimate rules and the restaurant’s director confirms that it is Halal. Is this enough to make us confident that it is permissible to eat this meat?

A: It is permissible to eat from this meat if the restaurant’s director was a Muslim person and you were sure of what he said.
