This is impermissible. You ought to fast as an act of obedience to Allah, for Allah rendered fasting an incumbent duty and one of the pillars of Islam. So, as long as you are capable of fasting health-wise, then you ought to fast, knowing that fasting brings about psychological relief and good health to man, as well as spiritual relief in his relation with Allah. It also empowers him with a strong will to avoid forbidden acts, feel the sufferings of the poor and remember the Judgment Day. “Remember by your thirst and hunger in the month of Ramadan the hunger and thirst of the Judgment Day”. “It brings about reward throughout the time for your breaths in it are an act of Tasbih and your sleep in it is an act of worship”.
