The First Sermon
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the
Merciful
Allah says in the context of talking to His Prophet Ibrahim.
When his Lord said to him, Be a Muslim, he said:
I submit myself to the Lord of the worlds.
Allah also emphasized the same word Islam in several Ayahs to
outline the reality of the religion when He said:
"The Religion before Allah is Islam" and.
And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be
accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers
The Meaning of Islam:
What does the word Islam mean? It means to submit or surrender
yourself to Allah, leaving nothing in you for yourself.
Thus, there will be no command expect Allah's command and no
prohibition except what Allah prohibited.
If Allah orders anything, man should accept it without discussion
or hesitation.
This is what the Holy Quran said (It is not
fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided
by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision: if
any one disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly
wrong Path ).
People do not have the freedom to say that they accept or refuse or
even hesitate. If Allah decides on something man has to bow and submit
to what Allah has ordered.
Allah has told us that when people differ in any issue whether
personals political economic or social, the indications of their
belief is that they will submit to the rule of Allah and His
Messenger: "But no by your Lord, they do not
believe" even if they fast or pray, for this is not the essence
and the truth of belief, "until they make you
judge of what is in dispute between then" They will come to
you, if you were alive and to your traditions after your death and
then they do not find any straitens in their hearts as to what you
have decided, and submit fully even if the ruling is not in their
favour. This is the Islamic essence.
Love is commitment:
Allah tells us of what it means to love Allah, is it to write
poetry of love to God as the Sufis do? or is it a commitment in
practice to everything He ordained, ? He says to His Messenger: the
Quran says: We believe in Allah and in the
Messenger and we obey; then a party of them turn back after this, and
these are not believers
For the believers are those who commit themselves. This is what
saying believing in God and His Messenger means: to obey Allah and His
Messenger.
But when they are summoned to Allah and His messenger, in order
that He may judge between them, behold some of
them decline (If there are some differences between the husband
and his wife, an employer and his employee, a political party and
another… etc.) and they are told to let Allah and His Messenger judge
between them , they decline. Some will go to the courts to see if they
rule in their favor. If it does they will leave Allah’s rule and
follow the rule of the court. But if the rule of Allah is in their
favor they will accept it.
Is it that there is a disease in their hearts? Or do they doubt, or
are they in fear, that Allah and His Messenger will deal unjustly with
them? Nay, it is they themselves who do wrong.
For Allah does not wrong any of His servants
Allah is the judge
To love Allah is to follow His Messenger for it is meaningless to
love Allah and not to follow the Messenger(p.) who represented Allah's
Message.
But do not follow me as a person but as a messenger who conveys
Allah's Message and His commands. "Allah will
love you" A love on your part that finds its expression in
practice, and a love from Allah that is expressed by Mercy and
forgiving , and forgive your sins.
Then He says: "Say: obey Allah and His
Messenger", in all fields of life and creed
"but if they turn back", and adopt the
line of disbelief then surely Allah does not
love the unbelievers.
Allah talks about a group of people who fast, pray and perform
pilgrimage and pretend to be Muslims, but they do not submit to God.
This is what many of us do and this is what some did at the time of
the Prophet.
Then Allah explains how the believer should act
The answer of the Believers, when summoned to Allah and His
Messenger, in order that He may judge between them, is no other than
this: they say, "We hear and we obey": it is such as these that will
attain felicity.
Who would be successful in both lives
It is such as obey Allah and His Messenger, and fear Allah and do
right, that will win (in the end),
In the light of this, we emphasize what we said in the beginning
about the meaning of being Muslim which is to abide by all of Allah's
commands.
This is what Muslims should be aware of especially when they go to
courts. Muslims should not go to courts to obtain something that is
not their right in God's jurisprudence. Allah will punish them.
Moreover, he would not be living Islam, which is to submit yourself
totally to Allah. All our bothers and sisters should be aware of this
and know that this world does not substitute the Hereafter and that
they will stand before God, when neither money nor children are of any
benefit, to be asked about why he violated Allah's command's and took
what was not rightfully his.
Thus, when believers differ and go to court. They should study if
the judgement is right on the basis of God's law not their personal
interests and greed.
Winning anything in this world if unrightfully acquired means
losing in the other world.
The Second Sermon
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
The fortieth anniversary of the June defeat has
passed. This defeat was a result of certain Arab and political
weakness, as well as the American planning, in alliance with the
enemy, which targeted the Arab unity and liberation movements.
The defeat led to the occupation of all of
Palestine as well as other territories in Syria and Egypt. The
Security Council issued several resolutions including 242 and 338 to
call for the withdrawal of the Zionist Army from the occupied lands,
but with a deliberate playing on words between the occupied lands and
occupied lands that allowed the occupier to say that it called for
withdrawal from some of the lands.
Nevertheless, none of these resolutions was
implemented, since America, and certain European states, did not exert
any pressures on Israel. Instead they pressurized the Palestinian
people who had to face with their bare flash all the advanced weapons
the Zionists used to invade, arrest, destroy their infrastructure,
bulldozer their agricultural lands and confiscate their water
resources.
But the Arab and Muslims did not do anything to
stop all this, instead their summits withdraw the “Nos” that were set
against the Zionist state (No peace, No recognition and no
negotiations) until they started to run after the enemy asking it,
since Madrid and Oslo to accept peace with them.
Lebanon has suffered from served Israeli invasions
that even reached its capital and destroyed its vital facilities and
infrastructure. The defeat went in deep in the Arab conscience to the
extent that the Arab League entered into the maze of the resolutions
that were passed as a result of the American pressures and the
international political game. Some Arab countries are still running
after Israel to accept peace, but Israel refuses to accept unless its
conditions that include the rejection of the right of return and
dismantling the settlements, as well as refusing to consider Jerusalem
the capital of Palestine, and the dismantling of the racial wall. It
also coordinates with the American Administration that pressurizes the
Arab states to accept political, economic and security normalization
before establishing peace. It also refuses the return of the
Palestinians to 1948 territories, and to return to the 1967
borderline.
The Arab official mentality has lived the spirit of
defeat which they called a set back although it was a catastrophe, as
Israel became the most powerful state in the region as a result of the
American military political and economic support.
In the midst or this darkness, the Resistance was
initiated to be the liberating light, whether the Palestinian
resistance which was culminated by the Intifada or the Lebanese
national and Islamic Resistance which was able to force the occupier
to withdraw in 2000 without any conditions.
The Resistance makes the
Future of Justice and Freedom:
Then the Resistance retaliated against the American
and Israeli aggression in July 2006. It was a strong response which
was able to defeat the enemy forcing it to target civilians in a
brutal and unprecedented manner to cover up for its defeat that it did
not witness in any part of its history. The military defeat was also a
political defeat to its government and to the American Administration
that wanted to give the enemy time to additional periods to disarm the
Resistance. But when it failed as a result of the struggle of the
Mujahideen, who not only defeated the enemy in a through manner
unprecedented in its history, but also embarrassed the Arabs who were
plotting against the Resistance since it became a problem to those who
yielded to the American policy. But the Arab and Muslim peoples were
liberated by the Divine victory, and they rejected the history of
defeat and opened up on the future of strength.
The American as well as all western states – tried
in their international conferences, and in the Security Council, to
declare an international war against the Resistance which became a
source of inspiration to all freedom loving nations of the world.
The anniversary comes at this time to emphasize
that the Resistance in Palestine and Lebanon has instated a new era in
which there is no place for weakness and defeat. That is why are we
call the Arab people in Palestine and the Muslim peoples in the region
to celebrate the victory on the confrontation line, and to change the
reality of defeat with the movement towards victory. We also call them
to refuse to take any step back and to make the future of justice and
freedom. We also call upon all those who are afraid of the enemy to
discover that their nation is strong and those who have yielded to the
American dictates, to respect the human aspect in them and to think
about how they would obtain real freedom and not an apparent one. We
call on them to stand with the Palestinian people who face the most
brutal acts of crime with Israel destroying not only their economy and
security but their very existence, encouraged by the USA, while the
International Quartet Committee remains silent and the Arab Quartet
continue opening up on befriending the enemy politically and in the
security and intelligence domains, which leaves the Palestinians with
nothing but the Resistance to defend themselves.
America: A total failure
The American war minister talks about staying for a
long time in Iraq, in the same manner it adopted in South Korea. The
American Occupation did not enter Iraq to save the Iraqis from the
dictator who was himself an American tool, but to promote its own
strategic and political interests in the entire region. The political
and humane slogans American used were meant to deceive the peoples who
are ruled by autocratic leaders who serve the US interests and are
used to protect occupation and coordinate with Israel under such false
pretences as fighting terrorism or adopting moderation. But America
will not succeed having lost the trust of the peoples of the Third
World and even the European peoples who are demonstrating against the
visit of the American President and to refuse his policies. One of the
former American military leaders has declared that America will not
has declared that American will not succeed in occupying Iraq because
it does not have the adequate administration to establish its colonial
presence.
We want the Iraqis who are suffering from the Chaos
the occupation had created to reject occupation and to strive to
achieve national unity. We want it to plan to abolish sectarianism and
racism and build a future of unity and prosperity.
Lebanon: Contradicting
Conditions:
In Lebanon, the problem still imposes itself in the
north with the war that targets the army in a war of attrition that
allows for international and regional interferences, and that creates
rumours that spread fear among the Lebanese.
It also affects the living conditions of the people
and the economy of the country especially with the Media talking about
spreading in other camps such as Ain Al-Hilwah, where the wise were
able to find a certain balance of differences.
Meanwhile, the political problem continues to
stall, with the debates about the conditions of a national unity
government still lingering on. This made several Arab and
international powers interfere to further their own interests,
exploiting the internal fears about the election of the next president
which might not take place, thus further aggravating the political
split, since we might have two cabinets, which would destroy the
country and might lead to destabilizing the security that might affect
all the unifying institutions.
We voice our concern towards all the threats that
the country faces in its security and economy, especially that the
debate between the opposition and the loyalists is still in the phase
of raising conflicting conditions, which could complicate things, and
leave no hope to any realistic solutions.
