Hijab: The symbol of dignity and freedom
His Eminence, Sayyed Ali Fadlullah, delivered the two Friday sermons. In the first sermon, he talked about the veil (Hijab) in Islam, explaining its significance and role in freeing women and treating them as human beings and not as females. In the second sermon, the Sayyed condemned the explosions in Syria. He also feared that the enemy would commit a massacre in its prisons in which hundreds of Palestinians might be killed. He also called for the release of all prisoners in Bahrain, and congratulated the Lebanese for rebuilding what the Zionist enemy destroyed in 2006
Lady Khadijah: The mother of the Message
His Eminence, Sayyed Ali Fadlullah, delivered the two Friday sermons. In the first sermon, he talked about Lady Khadijah. He explained that her relation with the Messenger (p.) was missionary and based on faith and giving. He also detailed some of the lessons we should dedcue from her honorable life. In the second sermon, the Sayyed called on the Arabs and Muslims to beware the enemy’s attempts to firmly establish its occupation of Palestine. He also warned against those who are trying to curb the Egyptian revolution and those who seek to prevent reaching a solution in Syria. He also called on the Lebanese to distinguish between the foes and friends among those who are visiting Lebanon.
Sustenance and the ethics of work
His Eminence, Sayyed Ali Fadlullah, delivered the two Friday sermons. In the first sermon, he talked about sustenance. He said that Islam considered earning one's living as a duty. He also said that the way to honor the workers is by improving their living conditions. In the second sermon, he pointed out to the escalating threat of sectarianism in the region. He emphasized that internal dialogue is the only means to thwart the attempts of those who are trying to destabilize the region. He called for a supportive Arab and Muslim stand with the Palestinians and welcomed the Egyptian decision to terminate the natural gas supply to Israel. In Lebanon, the Sayyed criticized the government’s economic and social policies, and he called for a representative and just electoral law
Az-Zahraa: The bridge between Prophethood and Imamate
His Eminence, Sayyed Ali Fadlullah, delivered the two Friday sermons. In the first sermon, he commemorated the death anniversary of Sayyeda Az-Zahraa (a.s.). He explained that she was a role model for all mankind and that she constituted the bridge that links between Prophethood and the Imamate. In the second sermon, the Sayyed highlighted the ongoing Zionist aggressions on Palestine and called on the Arabs and Muslims to support the Palestinian people. He also called on them to shoulder their responsibility towards the Zionist schemes in Sudan. As for Lebanon, the Sayyed criticized the discourse of the Lebanese MPs in the Parliament, for they exchanged accusations in a demeaning way, instead of focusing on finding solutions for the various problems the country is plunged into.
To be honorable is to obey Allah

He also explained that it is not an option; but rather, a duty. In the second sermon, he called for a responsible stand at the Arab and Islamic levels with regard to the Palestinian cause. He also called on the Syrians, to benefit from the window of opportunity to find a solution to the crisis. Moreover, the Sayyed emphasized that the Iraqis and the Lebanese should preserve their unity to thwart any attempt of creating a state of chaos and instability in the region
