“Though it might be against your own selves”
His Eminence, Sayyed Ali Fadlullah, delivered the two Friday sermons. In the first sermon, he talked about the virtue of justice, maintaining that it is the goal of all religions. In the second sermon, the Sayyed hoped that Al-Azhar would play a leading role in lessening the tensions in the Islamic world. He also called for an internal dialogue in Egypt and Tunisia to preserve the achievements of their revolutions. As for Lebanon, the Sayyed said that all parties are responsible of keeping the Lebanese civil peace.

Islam has no veto in dialogue
His Eminence, Sayyed Ali Fadlullah, delivered the two Friday sermons. In the first sermon, he asserted that the differences among people is a healthy phenomenon which should be turned into a better understanding by discussing the controversial issues and reaching an agreement over them. In the second sermon, the Sayyed saw that Syria needs an Arab solidarity and an internal unity. The Sayyed called for a dialogue between the government and the apposition in Egypt. He ended by stressing the need for a just electoral law in Lebanon.

Muhammad (p.): The Leader and the role Model
His Eminence, Sayyed Ali Fadlullah, delivered the two Friday sermons. In the first sermon, he celebrated the birth of the Seal of Prophets Muhammad Bin Abdullah (p.), and took this opportunity to talk about the numerous lessons we should learn from his sayings and practices. In the second sermon, the Sayyed explained that the elections in 'Israel' will not change anything in the Zionist policies of aggression. He also pointed out that there could be no military solution in Syria and that all Syrian parties have to resort to dialogue. He welcomed the calls for dialogue in Bahrain and expressed his fear that the ongoing debate in Lebanon concerning the electoral law only aims at passing time until the conditions ripen in the region.

Chastity: The core of the Islamic personality
His Eminence, Sayyed Ali Fadlullah, delivered the two Friday sermons. In the first sermon, he talked about the virtue of chastity, considering it the basis on which the Islamic personality should be founded. In the second sermon, the Sayyed talked about the French aggression on Mali that came, along with all the arrogant moves, to usurp the resources of the Islamic nation. The Sayyed stressed the need to relief Syria and end the strife in the country. He also asserted that the only way to enact an electoral law in Lebanon is when all parties stop giving priority to their individual and sectarian interests and start thinking of those of the country.

Righteousness between theory and practice
His Eminence, Sayyed Ali Fadlullah, delivered the two Friday sermons. In the first sermon, he talked about righteousness. He defined it and explained its relationship with faith and pointed out that it is a choice a person makes out of his free will. In the second sermon, the Sayyed expressed his concerns that the sectarian discourse in Iraq will lead to the return of the catastrophic state the Iraqis suffered from. He called on all parties in Syria to seize any initiative for a solution. He also called on the authorities in Bahrain to review their last decrees concerning some of the members of the opposition. As for Lebanon, he stressed on the need to take preventive measures beforehand to protect all the country against any future storms.
