| Fadlullah: The Jewish offense against Jesus Christ (a.s.) should be encountered by a unified Islamic-Christian stand |
His Eminence, the Religious Authority Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, received the President of the "Solidarity Party" (Tadamun) , Emile Rahme, where they went through the internal situation, and the situation in Baalbeck-Hermel region, in addition to the responsibilities of the government towards this region on the living and economic levels. They also discussed how to enhance and consecrate the relations between the people of this region away from the provocations that the political debate stir, in anticipation of the upcoming parliamentary elections, and the sectarian and confessional aspects.
During the meeting, they also deliberated in the Jewish offense against Jesus Christ (a.s.) and his mother, Lady Mary (a.s.), that the channel Ten of the enemy's television aired. His Eminence, Sayyed Fadlullah, emphasized that the offense must be encountered by a unified Islamic-Christian unity and that the response must set forth at different political, media, and popular levels and in diplomatic and cultural forums in order to send a decisive message refusing these offenses that express the despite of the Jews occupying the Christian message besides their despite of the Islamic message; this includes what the occupation is practicing from the massacres committed against the Palestinians, the siege imposed on Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Kiyama church, preventing Muslims and Christians from performing their religious rituals, in addition to destroying the mosques and sanctuaries on the heads of the praying worshippers.
