Fadlullah warned from Zionist attempts aiming at complicating the relations between Muslims and Christians in the West
His Eminence, the Religious Authority Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, warned that the Islamic presence in Europe is being threatened by International Zionism and the Zionist Lobby, which is seeking, round the clock, to complicate the relations between the Muslims and Christians in the West. Moreover, he called on the Islamic communities to organize their ranks, unite their word, forsake all means of sectarian divisions, and participate in the civilized process for defending Islam.
His Eminence received Hezbollah's Shura Council Member, Sheikh Muhammad Yazbek, who visited the Sayyed to check on his health.
Moreover, His Eminence received the Head of the Swedish Institute for Democracy and Dialogue and the Head of Sweden's Imam Council, Dr. Ihsan Moussa, accompanied by Mr. Yehia Abu Zakariyyaa and they went through the situations of the Islamic community in Europe and the Scandinavian countries.
His Eminence, Sayyed Fadlullah, emphasized that the Muslims in Europe ought to play the role expected from them to present the real and civilized image of Islam, in the face of the ongoing distortion campaigns conducted against it [Islam]. He also noted that certain Western political and media apparatus have embarked on exploiting all their potentials for the sake of besieging Islam at that area under the titles of integration and cohabitation and respecting laws.
His Eminence warned from the accelerating attempts of International Zionism and the Zionist Lobby to complicate the relations between the Muslims and Christians in the West, and create political and security problems so as to negatively affect these relations. He also noted that the Islamic presence in Europe is targeted; therefore, the attempts for making people feel terrorized and intimidated by Islam, specifically in the countries of the European Union, will continue and accelerate by various means. Therefore, the Muslims residing in these countries should organize their ranks, unite their word, forsake all methods that result in sectarian divisions, and participate in the civilized process for defending Islam, by scientific, cultural, and media means, with each shouldering his responsibilities in accordance to his potentials and capabilities.
