| Fadlullah received the head of the loyalty to the Resistance Bloc :Dialogue meetings should support social and political stability |
The Religious Authority, H.E. Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, received the head of the loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, MP Muhammad Raed, and discussed with him the developments in Lebanon and the region. Fadlullah and Raed also discussed the recent reconciliations, especially that between the secretary General of Hizbullah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Saad Hariri, head of the Tayyar al-Mustakbal, emphasizing the necessity of solidifying them, by taking practical steps on the political and popular levels.
Sayyed Fadlullah praised all the initiatives that can contain the tensions which prevailed in the previous stages, and called for taking advantage of the seemingly favourable environment to ensure that the country would not experience additional tensions and complications, especially that there seems to be a window of opportunities to invest these meetings to restore the relations between the various parties, and rebuild confidence among them on the basis of mutual recognition and respect that does not cancel the existing political differences, but also does not make it a basis for hatred and exchanging accusations of betrayal.
The meeting also touched on the internal dialogue, and the Sayyed emphasized that this dialogue should not become a meeting place for Lebanese internal contradictions, but a place of frankness, solving problems, containing political differences, laying the foundations for a just and strong state and supplying the institutions with a certain doze of support, through establishing political stability that would pave the way to solving the social problems that are so pressurizing that they can no longer wait.
