Abdul-Razzak

After the meeting, Sheikh Maher Abdul-Razzak made a statement in which he said:

We are here today to express our admiration to His Eminence, the Religious Authority Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlullah, for the precious role he has played throughout the tough years during which painful situations struck Lebanon. We highly praise him for he was one of those who called for and strived hard to spread the culture of Islamic unity, knowing that he has become one of the big symbols of this unity that aims to overthrow the colonial fragmentation imposed on us. He was also one of the callers for spreading the culture of the resistance that is rooted in Lebanon and Palestine and that had the one and most effective impact on kicking the occupation out, at a time many others embarked on spreading the culture of surrender and collaboration with the Zionist enemy.

His Eminence also received Dr. Reem Badran, the Second Vice-President of the Head of the Board of Amman Commerce Chamber, and they discussed the challenges facing the Arab and Islamic world at the intellectual, political and economic levels.

His Eminence emphasized that it is necessary for the Islamic project to present a comprehensive economic vision and to reach the international economic institutions, through this vision which represents the salvation and solution to the international economic reality, and not only to the Muslims and Arabs.

His Eminence also received the media Advisor of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Professor Ali Al-Moussawi, and they went through the recent developments in Iraq and the horizons of the coming phase and forming the government after the Iraqi parliamentary elections.
